Coffee Morning - December 2008

The Coffee Morning held on Friday 12th December was a great success in every way.  Guests came pouring into the beautifully decorated hall, and were greeted with a veritable feast of scrumptious home made cakes to choose from.

Once the difficult task of choosing a cake from the wide selection was made and served along with a tea or coffee, the guests were treated to a wonderful array of Christmas Carols sung by Foundation, Yr 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4, and Year 5. What a great start to everyone’s Christmas festivities!

The PTA would like to send out many thanks to those who kindly donated cakes for the event, to those who came and participated, and to all the pupils for providing such a wonderful backdrop.

A very special thank you goes to Nessie Partridge for her exquisite piano playing which filled the time in perfectly whilst we were waiting for the next class to do their little ensemble!!

And lastly, a special thank you also goes to the Cooks in the kitchen for helping with the warming of mince pies and boiling of a few kettles.
